Large Marine Permanent mold A356 Aluminum Castings

These large A356 permanent mold aluminum castings, made for the marine market, weigh about 220lbs each and when assembled together form about a 30" diameter finned sphere. In this photo the two large A365 aluminum castings are stacked together to show what they will look like after being machined and assembled together for use in the marine industry. Our permanent mold aluminum foundry was approached to make these large marine aluminum castings because they were previously being produced as sand castings and the customer needed a higher quality aluminum castings that our permanent mold aluminum casting process can offer.
