Large Complex Aluminum Castings For Conduit Bending Tool

Below are large and complex permanent mold aluminum castings weighting in at about 100lbs each and are about 18" tall and 18" in diameter. These large castings are manufactured for a large automated conduit bending tool. To manufacture these large castings with the grooves for the conduit bending tool, we use 3 large hydraulic slides which can be closed to make the aluminum casting, and opened to remove the complex casting from its mold. This allows the raw aluminum casting to have the exact profile required for the finished product, in return, requiring less machining to manufacture a finished cast aluminum conduit bending tool component.
