New 65 Ton Trim Press

Alcast Company has added a third trim press to our permanent mold aluminum foundry to further increase our production capacity and to also expand our internal value added service offerings. This larger 65 ton trim press will compliment the 10 ton and 40 ton trim presses that were previously installed in our foundry, by allowing us to trim larger and/or more intricate aluminum castings such as the Lone Wolf tree stand castings.

In our aluminum foundry the trim presses are used to automatically and quickly trim off the flash and/or gates on our aluminum castings. Automating this process saves labor, increases production, and also lowers the risk injuries to our employees, all of these benefits help keep costs down on our high quality permanent mold aluminum castings!
